France at Haiti1Stop has had the chance to meet with Lesie Hobbs, and she can attest that Leslie is one of the warmest people she’s ever met. Leslie also shared with her a beautiful calendar that she’d put together of the children at the orphanage. We definitely salute those who take the time to not only care about the “NOW” of Haiti, but also about its “FUTURE”. These children are Haiti’s future, so let’s do what we can to support them.

World Vision is a Christian relief organization which brings one meal per day to our school, Institution Humanitaire Theta. When school is out for the summer, they stop delivering the food. The GRODYSH team has been scraping things together until September, sometimes paying personally for the food for our 72 kids, out of our own pockets.

The Haitian government just decided to postpone the re-starting of school until October (rather than the normal September). This puts us in a VERY DIFFICULT situation. This is why we are putting out this special bulletin, aside from our regular newsletter, to alert you and ask for your help.

The absolute minimum we need to raise in the next few days is $3,000 to feed the 72 kids and our 10 staff members for a month. This comes to $1.22/day per person. We really need your help and your donations. Our PayPal account (link below) accepts all major credit cards.
