American Jewish World Service (AJWS)

Established in 1985, this development organization is committed to alleviating poverty, hunger and disease among the people of the developing world. AJWS partners with grassroots community-based organizations to bring first hand experiences to their volunteers. They also provide opportunities for people to learn, work, serve and travel in Africa, Asia and the Americas.
