Meds & Food For Kids (MFK)

MFK is a non-profit corporation in the United States and a registered non-governmental organization in Haiti whose mission is to save the lives of Haiti’s malnourished children and other vulnerable people. Their work consists of developing, producing, and distributing highly nutritious foods, including the gold-standard Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) right in Haiti. Introduced in Haiti in 2003 by Dr Wolff, founder of MFK, Haitians call the RUTF product “Medika Mamba” or “Peanut Butter Medicine” in Creole. Their factory based in Haiti provides job opportunities for many locals.
