Although, Jason was born with an artistic gift, he only started painting seriously at the suggestion of a friend who told him that he should try his hand at painting on canvas. JaFleu was deeply affected by the events that took place on January 12, 2010 in Haiti. Inspired and hurt by the suffering he saw, JaFleu decided that he didn’t want to sit idly and remain powerless.
